Bill Wenzel Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is proud to be a designated HVAC System Quality Installation Contractor from the Air Conditioning Contractors of American (ACCA) Quality Assured (QA) Program for HVAC system installations for EnergyStar Qualified New Homes Program. The ACCA Quality Assured (QA) program was created in 2011 to recognize contracting businesses that follow proper procedures and practices to design, install, and maintain home heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Completing the program also allows contractors to demonstrate that they are able to satisfy the requirements for the EPA ENERGY STAR Qualified New Homes Program . Contractors who qualify for the QA program actively use its elements to ensure customers receive a quality HVAC installation each and every time. But they are not the only ones to benefit from the knowledge gained in the QA program — home energy raters and home builders also appreciate the program, noting that it will lead to better construction practices and happier homeowners.

Bill Wenzel Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. is a member and accredited installer for the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA), the leading association in the geothermal industry that promotes the use of ground source heat pump technology worldwide through education and communication. IGSHPA is a non-profit organization headquartered at Oklahoma State University where training and research is performed. Geo Outlook magazine contains many case studies, project profiles, and important geothermal updates and is published quarterly by the association.

As a corporate partner and member of GEO (the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium), Bill Wenzel works to promote the most energy-efficient and environmentally friendly heating and cooling technology in the world. GEO promotes sustainable growth of the geothermal heat pump industry through advocacy in government affairs, partnerships with industry alliances, public outreach, and quality standards.

Bill Wenzel Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is a founding member of the New England Geothermal Professional Association (NEGPA) a regional organization focused on promoting geothermal heat pumps as a viable cost-effective renewable energy source. Members of the organization represent all disciplines involved in the geothermal heat pump value chain and works to educate and advocate the advancement of the geothermal heat pump industry in New England.

We are proud to be a member of the New Hampshire Sustainable Energy Association which is one of the largest energy education and advocacy groups in the region. The NHSEA has an important and significant presence in the State of New Hampshire with programs such as the Home Energy Conference and the Green Buildings Open House.

As a member of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, we help promote clean electricity, quality buildings, and sustainable transportation. NESEA is the nation’s leading regional association promoting awareness, understanding, and development of non-polluting renewable energy technologies. Bill Wenzel Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. service technicians are EPA Certified Universal Technicians who are authorized to maintain, service, or repair both low and high-pressure equipment and appliances. The EPA requires practices under Section 608 for maximum recovery and recycling of ozone-depleting substances during servicing and disposal of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

We are pleased to be selected as the Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) installer for the HeatSmart Bolton-Harvard Massachusetts Pilot Program. This program is a community-based outreach and education campaign that will encourage the adoption of clean heating and cooling technologies. The focus of HeatSmart Mass is to drive down residential installation costs and increase the deployment of residential and small-scale commercial clean heating and cooling technologies through a group purchasing model.
